A house concert is a semi-private event. That means you need an invitation. To get invited to a Ruidoso House Concert, just put yourself on my mailing list by emailing me. A house concert is different from a house party in that the main focus is the concert. We socialize for about an hour, eating and drinking, then everyone sits down and listens to the music. There is an intermission, then we finish the show.
Aug. 3 we are presenting Corinne West, accompanied by two members of her band, at the Noisy Water Lodge in Upper Canyon. Corinne has a rich voice, and the guitar is bluegrass with a touch of Irish, country and rock. You can listen to samples at Corinne's web site: http://www.corinnewest.com/music.php

Antje Duvekot (AN-tyuh DOO-va-kot) is a German-born, American-raised singer-songwriter who has risen to the top of the competitive Boston singer-songwriter scene. In 2006 with the release of her debut studio CD Big Dream Boulevard, Antje is now attracting national attention.
